THERMAL INSULATION PAINT NEOMID

PURPOSE:
It is formulated to insulate air-conditioning systems, cooling equipment and water pipes. Prevents a build up of condensation on cold water pipes, this in turn inhibits mold and fungal growth and protects against rust and freezing. Reduces heat loss. Ensures protection against burns, caused by contact with a hot surface. Vapor permeable, corrosion and UV resistant, heavy duty.
PROPERTIES:
SURFACE PREAPARATION: Make sure the surface is dry and free from dirt, dust, grease and flaking paint. Remove rust with a metal brush, abrasive wheel or rust remover. Remove oily and greasy stains with solvents. All surfaces must be free from condensation before painting.
COLOR: White, can be tinted with appropriate tinting pastes by 1%.
APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly before use. If necessary, thin the paint by 5%. Apply 3-4 coats in one direction until a sufficient film thickness of 1 mm is accomplished. Single coat thickness should not exceed 0,5 mm. Allow 24 hours between coats and 24 hours for the final coat to dry. Apply only when air temperature is between +5°С and +50°С, surface temperature – between +5°С and +90°С and relative humidity is below 80%. Protect from the weather during painting. Apply paint with natural bristle brush or spay gun with hard-alloy nozzle. After use, wash them in water or soapy solution. The coating withstands operating temperatures in the range -60°C to +200°C and it is resistant against temperatures up to 285°C for 2 hours once dry.
COVERAGE: 1 l/m2 with 1mm layer thickness.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Use in a well-ventilated area, wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves, eye and respiratory protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present. Continue rinsing. If necessary, seek medical advice and show this container/label. Keep out of the reach of children!
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION: Store in tightly-closed container at temperatures between +5°C and +35°С. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. The paint withstands up to 5 freeze-thaw cycles at temperatures above -25°С. It can be can be kept frozen for up to 1 month. Retains its properties after thawing. Thaw the paint in its original container at room temperature.
DISPOSAL: Do not allow to enter drains, watercourses or soil. Dispose of empty containers to an approved waste disposal plant. Do not use empty containers for household needs.
SHEL LIFE: 24 months.
COMPOSITION: Hollow-glass microsphereslatex, water, titanium dioxide, processing aids, in-can preservative.
