ACRYLIC SAUNA VARNISH NEOMID

PURPOSE:
Acrylic wood varnish for efficient protection and decorative finishing of wooden surfaces in rooms with high level of relative humidity and exposed to constant high temperatures, such as saunas and bath houses.
PROPERTIES:
- Creates protective dirt- and water-repellent satin film of high elasticity.
- Protects wood from fungal and mold infestation due to bioprotective additives contained.
- Prevents wood from graying.
- Preserves and emphasizes natural wood structure.
- Quick dry.
- Environmentally friendly.
- Practically no odor.
- Water borne.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Perform all work at the ambient temperature and treated surface temperature above +5°C.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Make sure the surface is free of fungi, dirt, resin and grease. When handling fungal and mold-infected wood, treat the surface first with a special purpose bleaching compound NEOMID 500. To ensure maximum protection from bio deterioration, treat wood first with sauna wood preservative NEOMID 200. Sand previously varnished surfaces until the old finish is satin-smooth. Always perform a test patch to make sure old and new varnishes are compatible.
APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 1-3 coats to a clean, dry surface with a brush, paint roller or spray gun at a temperature above +5°С and relative humidity of 65%. If necessary, perform intermediate sanding.
DRYING TIME: Tack-free – up to 1 hour at +20°С and relative humidity of 65%. Apply successive coat 3 hours after the previous one. It is ready for use after 3 hours.
CONSUMPTION FOR 1 COAT: 1 l/7-10 sq.m, depending on surface properties.
