PURPOSE:
The intumescent paint provides fire resistance to various types of cables (power, control, telecommunication, etc., irrespective of their voltage value and shield thickness) in tunnels, collectors, production facilities, on elevated structures under protection screen, shielding a cable from direct influence of rain and snow.
PROPERTIES:
- Provides fire resistance according to GOST R 53311.
- Continuous current rating reduction factor- at least 0,98.
- Fire-spread limit - 1.5 m.
- No chips, cracks and bubbles at t=150±2°C within 120 min.
- Good adhesion to cable sheath materials (polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene); no aggressive influence on them.
- Environmentally friendly, contains no organic solvents.
- Can be applied in tunnels without additional ventilation.
- No decomposition of the cable shield.
TYPICAL USE: Different types of cables (power, control, telecommunication, etc., irrespective of voltage and shield thickness) in tunnels, collectors, production facilities, on elevated structures under protection screen, protecting cables from direct exposure to rain and snow.
HOW IT WORKS: When exposed to fire, the coating expands 20-30 times the original thickness and creates an insulation barrier, protecting the painted surfaces from the effects of high temperatures and controlling the spread of fire.
COMPOSITION: Fillers, pigments and fire retardants suspended in water, special agents.
